Gilsong Housing Partners is seeking a Software Architect Supervisor to join our Software team. This is an on-site position, and the salary will be based on prior experience. Responsibilities:
1. *Leadership and Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the software development team.
- Facilitate regular team meetings, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Foster a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive team environment.
2. Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement the software development strategy aligned with company goals.
- Plan and manage software development projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with software development.
3. Project Management:
- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle from concept to deployment and maintenance.
- Manage project timelines and resources.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams.
4. Technical Oversight:
- Provide technical guidance and direction for software architecture and design.
- Ensure the adoption of best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
5. Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that software products meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations. - Monitor and improve software performance, scalability, and security.
6. Resource Management:
- Recruit, onboard, and train new team members.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback and development plans for team members.
- Manage team workloads and allocate resources effectively.
7. Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all software-related matters.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including executives.
- Gather and analyze feedback from stakeholders to inform development priorities.
8. Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes.
- Drive innovation in software development methodologies and practices.
9. Documentation and Compliance:
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of software designs, architectures, and code.
- Maintain compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Schedule:
Requirements:
- A degree in Software Engineering or a related field is mandatory.
- Bilingual proficiency is required.- Previous experience in a leadership role in software development.
