What You’ll Do
You have paralegal experience specific to trusts, estates and probate, accompanied by experience interpreting and responding to customer requests, and a heart for service. Financial industry experience would be appreciated. Trust is a cornerstone of client relationships. You are ethical and able to handle sensitive personal, legal and financial information with the utmost confidentiality.
- Delivering great service both internally and externally
- Assisting in-house attorneys with all aspects of estate planning and trust administration work including preparing draft documents and reviewing legal documents.
- Being a contact for clients, addressing inquiries, and providing great client service through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Working with financial advisors and associates to prepare and process account paperwork, including new account openings, account transfers, and account maintenance. Becoming an subject matter expert in these matters.
- Becoming comfortable and proficient in using our different applications (Outlook, Salesforce, Orion, and custodial platforms Schwab and Fidelity) to obtain account information and complete/coordinate all aspects of client service and account maintenance requests
- Fielding client requests and completing tasks, following through to make sure client's needs are met while following compliance standards
- Managing client data within CRM (Salesforce) and monitoring to ensure accuracy
- Handling other responsibilities as assigned
What You’ll Bring
- Client service skills
- Experience providing detailed troubleshooting and resolutions to users, accuracy and organization along with proactivity
- Experience interpreting and responding to customer requests
- Experience with the use of legal trusts and estates software
- Able to manage workload demands throughout the day/week
- Team player who shows a client-first attitude
- Demonstrate a desire to attend to advisor and client requests/needs
- Experience maintaining client relationships and providing service in a corporate environment
- Finance industry experience
- Proficiency in Excel (can perform complex functions)
- Eagerness to work in a growing firm
