Job Summary: The HR Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department and ensuring the company attracts, hires, and retains the best employees. This position requires a strong understanding of HR functions, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in both Spanish and English.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Assist in developing job descriptions and posting job openings on various platforms.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates for various positions within the company.
- Coordinate and conduct new employee orientation and onboarding processes.
- HR Administration:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of HR-related documents and reports.
- Support HR initiatives, including employee engagement, training, and development programs.
- Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide support on HR policies and procedures.
- Assist in addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts.
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Assist in maintaining and updating company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual: Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in HR or recruitment.
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.
