National hotel developer and operator seeks qualified professionals to submit their application and work experience to join our team as the Chief Engineer. This is a position with significant opportunity for growth, both at the property level and within the brand portfolio. The successful applicant will 1) Have a minimum of 7-years of experience in the construction and maintaining of commercial mechanical systems including, but not limited building automation controls, chiller plants, cooling towers, air-handling systems, 4-pipe distribution, electrical distribution, VFD’s, boilers, heat exchangers, water softeners, water storage and water distribution, and 2) be proficient in the review and understanding of MEP design documents, and 3) have a minimum of 3-years of experience in the operation, maintenance and required testing of high-rise fire suppression and smoke control systems and 4) have a full understanding and practice of industry workplace safety standards as well as OSHA Safety and Health Rules and Regulations and 5) have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as an assistant chief engineer in a similar sized hotel program, providing team leadership in the daily management of the asset, including, but not limited to property and systems operation assessments, troubleshooting, diagnosis, planning, materials procurement, third party contractor coordination, schedule development and the administration and team oversight in the execution and completion of the developed maintenance and repair programs.
