Your job purpose :
Reporting to the Manager, Technical Services, the maintenance mechanic will be the technical & mechanical expert supporting our production team. You will get to work on (and sometime inside) our digital printers which are some pretty cool pieces of equipment!
This role is made for you if :

- You troubleshoot mechanical issues and see them through to resolution;
- You love learning new technologies;
- You like to roll up your sleeves and know how to turn a wrench;
- You would describe yourself as reliable and a real team player.
How you will make an impact:
- Work on world class Digital Printers and make sure they stay in tip-top shape;
- Ensure all production equipment is functioning properly;
- Respond to production line stoppages and resolve equipment malfunctions;
- Assemble and install new equipment as our production line grows;
- Take care of ordering and returning parts from/to suppliers and keep the spare parts inventory up to date;
- Help coach operators on how to resolve equipment malfunctions and equipment faults;
- Capture and document work procedures and troubleshooting procedures;
- Exercise the KATA continuous improvement methodology.
- Work remotely with the Tech teams across all locations to resolve high level malfunctions;
Knowledge and skills required
- Experience in industrial maintenance, electrical engineering, automation or other relevant field;
- Great understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanics;
- At ease with computers, technology and cloud based tools;
- A proactive approach to support, problem-solving & troubleshooting with strong attention to details;
- Ability to multitask in a highly dynamic environment;
- Resourceful, autonomous and adaptable;
- Experience in Digital Printing is a bonus (but we can teach you!)
