Duties and Responsibilities: (Include, but are not limited to the following):

Ability to work in a cold environment (freezer and refrigerator)

Responsible for cleaning and organizing the warehouse with limited supervision

Follow and understand verbal instructions in a fast-paced environment and able to work under immediate supervision.

Ensure clean, safe, and organized work area.

Comply with all health, sanitation, GMP, OSHA, and USDA regulations as described in the Employee Handbook and other policy and procedure documents.

Knowledge of receiving procedures for meat products coming into the company, including lot assignment and internal records procedures

Knowledge of shipping procedures for meat products coming into the company, including lot assignment and internal records procedures.

Safely load/unload products into company trucks and vendor trucks
-
Stack pallets in freezers and coolers in a safe manner

Maintain coolers free of pallet debris

Schedule Monday through Friday 4:00 am -12:30 pm Sunday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm (Sundays are paid Time and a Half)

Able to perform additional tasks from time to time as determined by Bertolino Foods in its sole and absolute discretion

Ability to work in a cold environment (freezer and refrigerator).

Ability to demonstrate basic comprehension of warehouse practices.

Able to lift 75 lbs. or more.

Able to operate High lift, forklift, pallet jack, stand-up jack, etc.
- Two plus years of experience (preferred)
