Type of position: Exempt (after 90 days of introductory period)

As a CNC Machine Operator, you'll play a vital role in our production environment, contributing to the success of our CNC Department and supporting the growth of our organization.
Responsibilities: As a CNC Machine Programmer /Set-up Operator , you will:
- Follow QMS procedures in the production.
- Use SolidWorks & MasterCam CAD/CAM/CAE program to program CNC parts.
- Develop machine programs for 5 axis and 3 axis mills (Lathes/Multi Axis Mills and Multi Axis Lathes/VTLs a plus)
- Operate CNC machines according to job instruction packs and work holding information.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient machine operation and production goals are met.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to meet quality and production standards.
- Inspect output samples using industry-appropriate methods to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Develop set-up sheets to show alignment of geometry from CNC program to physical workpiece.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Follow QMS ISO9001:2015 & AS9100 procedures.
- Possess knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Metrics/Accountability:
- On Time/On Budget execution of projects according to Project Charter/Plans/Budget.
- Support program schedule & performance goals with 90%+ operational efficiency.
- Maintain records 100% accurate and available based on Audits.

Education and Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a CNC Machine Operator.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: N/A
Abilities/Skills Required:
- Knowledge of practical engineering science and technology applications.
- Excellent knowledge of metal fabrication manufacturing methods.
- Proficiency in reading specifications and drawings.
- Skilled in using logic, reasoning, and sound analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manufacturing routing.
- Understanding of AS9100, ISO9001, Mil-Std-790, and ANSI/ASME standards is a plus.

Pay: $57,600.00 - $76,800.00 per year
