Cedar Park Med is seeking a qualified Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a valid Medical Assistant certificate and at least one year of experience in Occupational Health. The Medical Assistant will participate in employee health and wellness safety fairs, including Family Day on a Saturday once a year to perform blood pressure screenings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer various tests associated with pre-employment/promotional/CDL examinations, fitness for duty evaluations, including EKGs, spirometry, vision testing, audiograms, phlebotomy, and vital signs.

Perform annual physicals/exams.

Enter test results into the online medical system daily.

Assist physicians and nurses as needed.

Prepare charts, labels, and other associated paperwork.

Clean, maintain, and perform quality assurance checks on equipment daily.

Ensure adequate supplies and restock patient rooms as necessary.
Requirements:
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in Occupational Health.

Certification through a nationally recognized organization.
Schedule: -
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, except state holidays.
