Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Pool Construction Operations to join our team. This role is critical in establishing and maintaining growth and margins in pool remodeling and new construction. You will oversee day-to-day operations, provide leadership, and ensure high performance and morale across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Manage scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to ensure efficient workflow.
- Leadership: Provide guidance and support to teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Purchasing & Vendor Management: Direct purchasing through suppliers and manage vendor relationships to meet budget and KPI targets.
- Team Management: Hire, lead, and manage a team, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Training & SOP Development: Develop and implement standard operating practices and training programs.
- Customer Issue Resolution: Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
- Financial Management: Oversee financial planning, systems, and controls.
- Contract & Market Strategy: Assist in preparing proposals, budgets, and strategies for market expansion.
- Quality Control: Lead quality assurance initiatives, conducting inspections and audits.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management and leadership, specifically within the construction or pool industry.
- Proven track record of successful team management and development.
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification or equivalent.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Valid driver's license with a clean record and willingness to travel to project sites.
