WHS In-School Suspension/Testing Center Coordinator/Communications Representative
Job Description
Qualifications: High school diploma, computer skills including proficiency with word processing. Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Good human relations skills a must with ability to keep information confidential. Ability to speak Spanish a plus but not required.
Reports To: Assistant Principal
Evaluated By: Assistant Principal
Length of Contract: 184 days, 35 hours per week
The In-School Suspension/Testing Center Coordinator will be responsible for the following:
*Note: The person in this role will act as Information Desk/Student Services Liaison one day a week.
DAILY (three days a week)
1. Supervise students in In-School Suspension setting. Collect work and communicate with student teachers during the suspension.
2. Administer tests and quizzes for students in In-School Suspension. Maintain integrity of test and test atmosphere. Return tests safely to teachers and/or administrators.
3. Organize and administer make-up exams for students during specified windows following final exams. Return tests safely to teachers and/or administrators.
4. Communicate the policies and procedures of the Testing Center and maintain the order and accuracy of all tests and records.
5. Assist the assistant principal with staff web page updates and website communications to parents as time allows during the school day.
ON-GOING
1. Maintain supply of various forms and handouts for the WHS Testing Center
2. Assist the assistant principal with safety document copies/needs/signs as the need arises.
3. Update WHS websites, twitter, Facebook and Instagram multiple times daily.
4. Help with requests assigned by Principal, APs and Dean
