We are a multi-disciplinary physical medicine and pain management clinic looking for a conscientious, dependable and compassionate full-time Physical Therapist to join our fast-paced, multispecialty health clinic. Our team is comprised of Doctors of Chiropractic, Physical Therapists, Medical Practitioners, and Acupuncturists. Our mission is to help patients of all ages to achieve optimal health and wellness through a holistic approach while minimizing unnecessary drugs and invasive surgeries.
Qualification:
● At least 2-3 year of experience is preferred but recent graduates who are confident in their clinical skills, self motivated, and driven to excel are encouraged to apply
● Must have a valid Physical Therapy license, in good standing, from the state of Maryland
● Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals
● Training or certification in either Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) or Dry needling is a plus
Responsibilities:
● Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their medical history, physical conditions, functional limitations, and specific needs.
● Develop individualized treatment plans within the physical therapy scope of practice, and through integration of other multidisciplinary services offered in the office as deemed necessary.
● Utilize hands-on manual therapy techniques, exercises, modalities, and/or additional treatments within scope of practice to enhance patient recovery and progress them towards their goals.
● Create home exercise programs as part of an individualized patient treatment plan, geared towards facilitating patient recovery and progress towards their goals.
● Educate patient and family members when necessary on patient condition, prognosis, treatment options, and anything deemed important for patient centered care
● Evaluate effectiveness of treatment in the patient’s plan of care by systematically assessing the patient’s progress and modifying treatment plan when necessary, including within your scope of practice, and integration of other multidisciplinary services when appropriate
● Document patient treatments and progress in the electronic health record system
● Adhere to HIPAA guidelines regarding patient health information
● Provide care with exceptional time management to ensure clinic flow
● Willingness to continue to learn and implement new evidence-based techniques
● Maintain a confident and positive disposition towards all patients in the clinic to enhance therapeutic alliance.
Compensation: Based on experience, starting pay $40-$50 per hour
Our shifts are as follows: (Schedules will be determined after hire based on part-time availability and are subject to change.)
Monday: 8-1pm, 2-7pm
Tuesday: 1-7pm
Wednesday: 8-1pm, 2-7pm
Thursday: 1-7pm
Friday: 8-1pm
