Wildlife Removal Specialist Job Description
We are seeking a Wildlife Removal Technician to expand our growing team. You will be responsible for safely and effectively removing wildlife from residential and commercial properties. This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of wildlife behavior and the ability to use various tools and equipment. This position is perfect for animal lovers who would like to use humane methods to save and protect wildlife.
Job Duties
- Conduct inspections of properties to identify entry points and potential habitats for wildlife and determine the best course of action.
- Safely remove wildlife using humane trapping and relocation methods
- Implement exclusion techniques to prevent wildlife from re-entering properties
- Utilize power tools for the construction of barriers and repairs
- Clean and sanitize affected areas to remove any traces of wildlife
- Provide recommendations to property owners on how to prevent future wildlife issues
- Maintain accurate records of services provided
- Conduct wildlife removal and relocation in a humane and ethical manner
Experience
- Previous experience in wildlife removal, pest control, or work with animals is recommended
- Knowledge of local wildlife species and their behaviors
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable with elevated surfaces and heights
- Sales experience is a plus
