Job Overview:
We are seeking a to join our team. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a dental office setting. Your role will involve scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using dental software systems such as eClinicalWorks or Dentrix
- Collect and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records, both electronic and paper-based
- Process payments and handle billing inquiries
- Assist with insurance claims processing and verification
- Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed
- Manage inventory of office supplies and order new stock when necessary
- Provide general administrative support to the dental team
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a dental office or medical administrative support role is preferred
- Familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes is a plus
- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as eClinicalWorks or Dentrix is highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
