We are looking for a full-time Operations Specialist at our fast growing, busy independent eye care practice. We would like to employ someone who is dedicated to serving our patients, can commit to a team environment and has a positive, upbeat and hardworking attitude.
Full Time Position
Hours: Monday 8am-7pm Tuesday 8am-5pm Wednesday 9am-7pm Thursday 8am-5pm
Friday 8am-1pm
Job duties include:
- Upholding the Cary Family Eye Care mission & core values
- Check in & check out patients
- Scheduling appointments
- Answering phones
- Insurance verification
- Assisting patients to understand their plan benefits
- Prepare charts
- Collect balances & post payments
- Issue receipts & rebates
- Scanning and other various office duties.
Requirements Education & Experience:
- Experience with health insurance - strongly preferred
- Excellent organizational skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Poise & professionalism
- Self-directed
- Previous experience in a medical, optometry, ophthalmology, or optical
setting is preferred, no experience necessary for the right person. Willing to participate in open book management
