Duties:
- Conduct penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses in systems, networks, and applications
- Perform vulnerability assessments and provide recommendations for remediation
- Develop and execute test plans, scripts, and methodologies for penetration testing
- Utilize tools such as Nmap, Burp Suite, and Splunk to perform testing and analysis
- Conduct social engineering tests to assess the effectiveness of security controls
- Document findings and provide detailed reports on vulnerabilities and recommended solutions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of penetration testing methodologies and tools
- Experience with DIACAP or other relevant security frameworks
- Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey findings and recommendations
Note: Certification in relevant security certifications such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) is highly desirable.
