Overview:
Please read through this posting in its entirety as this position is unlike your traditional Senior Operations Manager position. We're on the lookout for someone who's excited to dive into a dynamic role where every day brings something new and exciting. As our Senior Operations Manager, you'll be our go-to person for making sure everything runs like a well-oiled machine. We are a small-family owned business and we are looking for someone who can not only help lead the operations, but is also willing and excited to jump into the day-to-day work, specifically in regards to managing purchase orders and production, when workload is high or to help pitch in when colleagues have time off. As a small company, we need everyone to roll up their sleeves and contribute whenever and wherever needed to get the work done.
Responsibilities:
- Purchase Order and Production Management: Work collaboratively with our Purchasing and Production Managers to streamline operations and boost efficiency. Become a subject matter expert in these areas in order to step in and help alleviate workload when volume is high.
- Warehouse Collaboration: Support the Warehouse Team Lead in managing the warehouse, have a pulse on everything from order and inventory management to receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Supply Management: Keep our office and warehouse stocked up with all the essentials. From pens and paper to packing tape and bubble wrap, you'll make sure we're never caught empty-handed.
- Facility Lead: As the point person for facility maintenance, you'll be our first line of defense against building issues. Whether it's a leaky faucet or a wonky door, you'll ensure it’s not a problem for long.
- IT Coordination: You'll coordinate with our IT partners to save the day whenever hardware or software issues are identified.
- Onboarding Champion: Help welcome new team members with open arms, guiding them through their first steps and making sure they feel right at home from day one.
- Software Project Management: Lead the charge on software implementations, ensuring smooth transitions and helping our team make the most of their digital tools.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or 5+ years equivalent experience in leading operations teams.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a family-run environment where everyone wears many hats.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and proficient in using best judgment to determine how and where to prioritize time and resources.
- Excited to juggle multiple responsibilities with a positive attitude.
- Superb communication skills and adept at building strong relationships.
- A passion for teamwork, integrity, and always striving for improvement.
- A can-do attitude and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to jump in wherever needed.
Salary:
$80-$90k DOE
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
