Paraplanner / Junior Advisor
Crux Wealth Advisors, LLC (CWA) is a fast-growing investment advisory firm, with locations across the US. Our services are comprehensive and cover all phases of life, from planning for children’s education to a comfortable retirement. We are currently at over $2.5 billion in assets under management and continue to grow at a fast pace through organic growth, P & L management, and mergers/acquisitions. We are seeking a seasoned Paraplanner / Junior Advisor to execute on the daily tasks and responsibilities in multiple aspects of a mature, established practice.
You must be capable of working independently to help service and grow our business. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in client meetings in support of lead advisor - capture meeting content and follow up items required
- Serve as a trusted liaison between the Lead Advisor and the clients
- Coordinate financial planning projects for the firm
- Utilize Financial Planning Software to maintain ongoing planning strategies
- Prepare supporting information and lead presentations for client meetings
- Input client and financial data to internal systems
- Research products and strategies using multiple software programs
Qualifications:
- Thorough understanding of income strategies, investment risk/tolerance and investment products
- Investment & financial planning software experience; eMoney strongly preferred
- Advanced understanding of financial planning process, concepts, and terminology, including knowledge of mutual fund, stock, bond, insurance and annuity products, tax and estate planning basics, and broker/dealer account opening & transfer procedures
- Ability to confidently lead clients through planning process
Educational/Previous Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of five years of wealth management industry experience.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Series 7 and 66 preferred, but not required
- Life/health insurance licensed preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with Life, Long Term Care and Disability Insurance strategies preferred
