The vacuum truck operator primary responsibilities include general labor duties including but not limited to clean-up of equipment, spills, work areas, grounds, and driving the vacuum trucks. The vacuum truck operator will report directly to the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities:
- Operate vacuum trucks
- Clean up of multiple types of jobs
- Startup, monitor, and shutdown equipment in accordance with applicable safety and environmental practices and policies
- Completes visual and daily safety inspection of equipment to ensure safe operations
- Performs shift inspection of equipment and communicate potential repair issues to shop mechanic
- Operates equipment safely and efficiently to limit downtime and minimize costs
- Performs routine maintenance such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning
- Knowledge of operation of multiple pieces of equipment
- Performs other tasks as instructed by supervisor
- Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications:
- CDL A or B required
- Doubles & Triples endorsement is a plus
- Experience in operation of vacuum trucks and other heavy equipment
- Able to work rotating shifts and overtime as required
- The ability to work from written and verbal instructions
- Must be able to work with a team, take direction from supervisors(s), adhere to required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules
- Must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the job without posing a direct threat to the safety of his or her own self, or the safety of others
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel a plus
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, background and reference check
Education/Experience
- One year of experience is preferred
- Stable work history, preferably in an oil and gas or industrial environment
- Heavy equipment licenses or certifications preferred
- High School Education or equivalent
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift approximately 0-50 lbs. occasionally
- Able to climb stairs and work at various heights
- Able to read, write and understand basic English
- Able to wear a respirator
