We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our dynamic team. Individuals in this position will perform assigned duties to meet customer demands, this will consist of working in a manufacturing environment, utilizing basic hand tools and specialized equipment
Job duties
- Reads and interprets blueprint designs of the product to be manufactured and sets machine to produce product/components to customer specification.
- Programs router by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation and conditional switches, calculating requirements including basic math, geometry, trigonometry, proving part programs.
- Sets up router to manufacture parts; loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position.
- Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part and sample work pieces.
- Makes mechanical and/or program adjustments to ensure parts are meeting quantity and quality requirements.
- Periodically checks CNC machine to ensure positioning of drills stay perfectly aligned.
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintains equipment through preventative maintenance; following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
- Abides by the policies, procedures and work rules established by the plant.
- Establishes and maintains Company housekeeping standards.
- Performs other related duties that contribute to the success of the operation as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
- Requires walking, bending/twisting, and standing for prolonged periods.
- Proficient use of hands and finger dexterity for manual handling of materials.
- Involves frequent heavy lifting up to 100 lb. utilizing proper lifting techniques.
- Capability to identify different parts in a specific order and select appropriate hardware.
- Effective utilization of Epicor for order processing.
- Forklift operation skills when required.
- Excellent knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
