Currently seeking up and coming chefs looking for an opportunity to develop their culinary and leadership skills.
Job Responsibilities:
-Must have reliable transportation. THIS JOB IS LOCATED AT THE NORTH END OF VALLECITO LAKE, so you must be able to drive in ALL weather conditions.
-Arrive on time to all scheduled shifts.
-Take pride in knowing the entire menu, the ingredients, and how they are prepared, portioned, and plated.
-Ensure the prep station and kitchen is stocked and ready for service.
-Prepare simple components of each dish on the menu by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces.
-Do portion prep work for other shifts as needed.
-Make sure food prep and storage areas meet health and safety standards.
-Make sure kitchen, food prep areas, and dry storage areas meet restaurant cleaning standards.
Monitor product freshness and rotate out old product based on the schedule created by the chef.
-Stock inventory and supplies.
-Cook food on the line during service hours.
-Complete all nightly, weekly, monthly, and seasonal side work as assigned.
-Maintain working knowledge of all Colorado food and beverage laws.
-Present valid proof of ServeSafe certification and maintain certification status. OR be willing to obtain certificate quickly.
-Follow all safety procedures.
-Maintain a professional and cleanly appearance.

Rent housing might be available for the right person.
