FULL TIME ENTRY LEVEL CT SUPPORT SPECIALIST
Chicago ENT is opening a specialized position to support our Medical Assistants (MA) and providers with imaging support. A successful candidate may be an entry-level applicant or a person with some experience in healthcare but above all will demonstrate a passion for patient care and dedication/detail in their work.
This role will report to the MA Lead.

8AM -4M, Monday at St Joes
9AM -5PM, Tuesday at St Joes
8AM - 5PM, Wednesday at St Joes
10AM - 4PM, Thursday at St Joes
8AM-4PM, Friday at Skokie
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Support physician clinic by coordinating same-day and scheduled sinus CT’s.
o Prepare and position patients for CT scans on the Mini-CAT machine.
o Operate the Mini-CAT CT scanner to obtain high-quality images.
o Ensure patient comfort and safety during the imaging process.
o Assist in the maintenance and calibration of the Mini-CAT CT scanner.
· Communicate effectively with patients, explaining the scanning procedure and addressing any concerns.
· Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures and patient information.
· Collaborate with ENT specialists to ensure optimal imaging results.
· Follow all safety protocols and regulations related to imaging procedures.
· Train end-users on the proper use and maintenance of imaging equipment and software.
· Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to imaging systems.
· Assist with administrative tasks for the Medical Assisting team on site including rooming patients, turning over exam rooms, and scanning documents as needed.
· Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up-to 30 pounds.
· Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
· High School diploma or GED equivalent.
· Ability to work in a high stress, fast paced environment.
· Basic understanding of medical imaging procedures is preferred but not required.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work well in a team environment.
· Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
· Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position has no supervisory responsibility.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Preferred: Current Medical Assistant Certification by AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT
