Responsibilities:
Level I: Entry-Level (1-2 years experience)
- Collaborate with senior technicians to gain hands-on experience and knowledge
- Responsible for and maintain 100% critical systems uptime;
- Train towards becoming a First Responder to critical infrastructure alarms;
- Accurate and timely completion of work orders
- Handle different tool and equipment with precision;
- Adhere to Safety Policy and Procedure;
- Work with vendors and contractors to ensure their work meets industry standards;
- Assist in inspecting buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions;
- Perform assigned collateral duties and tasks assigned by management staff;
- Learn and perform preventative maintenance tasks on critical equipment
- Work with experienced technicians to perform corrective maintenance on critical equipment.

Preferred - Outlook Fundamentals, OSHA 10, Material Equipment Operator (MEO), First Aid/CPR, NFPA-70E (Arc Flash), Golf Cart, Data Center University, Building Fire Riser, Fire Extinguisher
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent; and Technical Trade School related to Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics
Level II: Intermediate (2-4 years experience)
In addition to assisting with Level 1 responsibilities, you’ll need to perform the following:
- Alarm Response: High Temperature, UPS, UPS Battery, Health Report Error, Fluid Cooler, Pump Skid, Generator, Switchgear, Leak Detection, Cooling Systems and related components
- Accurate and timely completion of work orders and participate in policy and procedure development
- Handle different tools and equipment with precision
- Mentor and train Level 1 technicians
- Perform assigned collateral duties and tasks assigned by management staff;
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance tasks on critical equipment
- Inspect and install heat containment measures to ensure proper floor temperatures
Certification: **
Required: Outlook Fundamentals, OSHA 10, Material Equipment Operator (MEO), First Aid/CPR, NFPA-70E (Arc Flash), Golf Cart, Data Center University, Building Fire Riser, Fire Extinguisher
Preferred: Basic Power Flow Isolated System, Tier V Requirements, Alber Test, Fluke Temperature Meter Use, Conductivity Meter Use
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent; and Technical Trade School related to Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics
Level III: Advanced (4+ years experience)
In addition to assisting with Level 2 responsibilities, you’ll need to perform the following:
- Lead complex installations, upgrades, and migrations of data center infrastructure.
- Conduct in-depth troubleshooting of hardware, network, and environmental issues.
- Implement and maintain security protocols and access controls.
- Collaborate with vendors and support teams to optimize data center performance.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to Level 1 and 2 technicians
- Act as first responder to facilities electrical and mechanical systems that may be employed in a data center environment. This may include electrical feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS Systems, DC power Systems, ATS/STS units, PDU units, breakers, batteries, load bank connections, CRACs, air handling units, fluid coolers, pumps, cages, and fire suppression systems;
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and electrical drawings (blueprints/CAD).
- Knowledge of data center, safety, electrical, and cooling designs
- Knowledge of how to operate a thermal imaging tool (FLIR)
- Knowledge of how to test batteries using appropriate equipment
- Ability to install and troubleshoot low voltage controls and communication wiring
- Advanced understanding of how to navigate building management systems
- Must have good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills;
Certification: **

Required Job Skills:
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems that may be employed in a data center environment. This may include electrical feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS Systems, DC power Systems, ATS/STS units, PDU units, breakers, batteries, load bank connections, CRACs, air handling units, fluid coolers, pumps, chillers, cages, and fire suppression systems;
- Must follow established safety practices and procedures in applicable situations
- Ability to work any shift in a 24x7x365 Operation, including weekends and holidays
