Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Serve as liaison regarding all billing queries.
- Revenue cycle management: responsible for ensuring that all financial objectives are met in regards to clients making payments and refunding clients.
- Pull reports from electronic health records system daily.
- Create files for eligibility; create and disseminate various reports.
- Craft external and internal e-mail communications – to Clinic staff, clients, billing company, insurers, etc.)
- Phone communications as needed – e.g., call clients re: billing issues.
- Data entry in electronic health records.
- Compile data and run reports.
- Fee cards: make sure all fee cards have appointments entered correctly; create new fee cards for each client, including yearly sheets as the year changes.
- Update information in systems as needed.
- Batch files and submit to billing company.
- Maintain list of clients on self-pay including our yearly revenue loss, and appropriate paperwork signed; submit self-pay logs; run outstanding self-pay balances monthly.
- Monitor copay logs being sent out to finance.
- Generate bills/run credit cards for outstanding balances.
- Gather information from insurers.
- Maintain money owed and write off list, self-pay list, cc list in addition to yearly loss for self-pay clients.
- Take (and check when needed) weekly money envelopes to Finance Division for processing, including mail and checks from insurance.
- Assist with credentialing and re-credentialing.
- Use computer, fax, or courier service to transmit information or documents when requested.
- Discharge clients.
- Monitor transactions and passwords regarding billing.
- Add files to the restricted drive, P-drive and admin folder.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21.04 - $22.23 per hour
