Working closely with the Director of Finance Operations, the Assistant Director of Finance Operations, Non-Gaming, is responsible for the accounting of all non-gaming revenues, review of financial statements and all non-gaming account reconciliations. This position will have a high level of collaboration with department leaders and Finance Shared Services.
Core Job Responsibilities:

Manages the tactical execution of short-term and long-term objectives through the coordination of activities with a direct responsibility for results, including costs, methods, and staffing.

Communicate with department leadership regarding accounting and internal controls.

Prepare and maintain all non-gaming revenue accounting.
-
Perform tasks and assignments in compliance with enterprise accounting policies.
-
Complete tasks in compliance with federal and state regulations and maintain records for county and state taxes and licenses, as well as safeguard company assets.

Ensure compliance with Nevada Minimum Internal Controls Standards (MICS), Nevada Gaming Board Regulations and Statutes.

Manage the Point of Sales (POS), Hotel Property Management System (PMS) and Ticketing Systems as it relates to configuration and reporting.

Supervision and review of profit splits for Operating Agreements of Managed/Leased outlets and operator reimbursements.

Supervision and review of condominium owner rental splits and other related transactions

Provide support to managers and aid in the development of financial leadership skills.

Communicate with external and internal auditors.

Direct accounting staff on technical matters.

Perform other job-related duties as requested.
Qualifications:
-
5 years supervisory experience required.
-
3 years of experience in hotel operations, food and beverage operations or hotel accounting required.

Bachelors or associates degree in accounting, finance or hospitality or equivalent work experience required.

Working knowledge of integrated resort POS Systems: LMS, Agylisis, Epicor, Amadeus, Spa Soft or equivalent.

Experience with Condo/Hotel accounting preferred.

Ability to appropriately manage confidential departmental and corporate information

Must have excellent written, verbal and public presentation communication skills. Must be able to produce memos and executive summaries.

Ability to work on multiple levels from resolving individual support issues to leading large strategic programs.

- Ability to delegate, manage manpower and organize complex projects and establishes priorities consistent with SMGHA and department/hotel objectives.
- Ability to obtain/renew all government required licenses or certification, specifically a Nevada Gaming license.

Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint. Mastery of Excel required.

Must possess outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills, as well as excellent attention to detail.
