We are looking for an experienced landscape yard associate to join our team.
The landscape yard specialist will undertake a range of duties to ensure the efficient and effective management and maintenance of our landscape yard.
The yard includes nursery and landscape material, equipment storage and repair, as well as the shop & offices.
The ideal candidate will have green industry/landscape knowledge and experience, skid steer or forklift experience, a valid driver’s license and clean driving record, and able to speak English and Spanish.
Compensation:
$18 - $20 hourly
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Participate in managing day-to-day operations on the yard along with other members of the team.

Organize Job installation orders for crews based on job scheduling.

Ensure organization of inventory and always maintain yard cleanliness.

Unload delivery trucks with nursery or landscape materials, bulk materials, or other items as needed.

Pick up plants and materials when necessary, and deliver to the yard or job site.

Perform proper care and watering of all plant material in the yard.

Monitor and record incoming/outgoing landscape materials.

Manage weed growth around the nursery and landscape yard.

Load landscape vehicles with nursery and landscape material to be taken to jobs.

Safely operate forklift, hand cart and related equipment and tools to move materials.

Separate debris and load dumpsters.

Maintain a neat and orderly yard to maximize efficiency.

US work authorization (Required).

High school or equivalent (Preferred).

Green industry experience with landscape, hardscape, nursery, or irrigation products is a plus.

Ability to work in all types of seasonal weather conditions.

Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Skid steer or forklift experience.

Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

English and Spanish language.
