Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Press Brake Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining our press brake machines to produce high-quality metal components according to specifications.
Schedule
Monday - Thursday, 5:00am-3:30pm, with occasional overtime on Fridays.
Essential Functions
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and fabricate metal components
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machine settings and product requirements
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine operation and product quality
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company policies
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure production goals are met

- Must be able to work Monday-Thursday, 5:00am – 3:30pm; To meet the needs of the customer’s occasional overtime may be required. The company will try and give as much notice as possible
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 3+ years set-up and operating press brake experience. Bonus if you have experience with Amada® or Safan Darley® equipment
- Solid background working with sheet metal
- Knowledge of press brake tooling and tool maintenance
- Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Proven measurement and mathematical fraction/decimal and metric conversion skills
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Ability to distinguish material types including aluminum, steel and stainless steel
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification or training in machine operation or a related field.
- Experience with CNC press brake machines.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles
