Your key responsibilities will be to work initially with the sales team to determine which equipment the new client will need to have installed but then coordinate all equipment installation steps and ensure that each and every step of the installation is handled seamlessly.
This is a great stepping stone position within the company as it will allow you great visibility while you gain proper recognition for your efforts that will propel you to further advancement within the company.
Additional key tasks for the Project Manager will be to be the lead Engineering professional that works with multiple departments to include Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain and Production to keep the project moving forward and on schedule.
Act as key liaison between sales and engineering to get the initial proposal from the client and initiate the next steps with Contractors, Installation personnel, logistics, sales and service personnel.
Be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with completion times ranging from several weeks to multiple years.
The ideal Project Manager will travel to client sites to keep the process in check and be the face person for the company to manage the project from start to finish.
Key Requirements for the Project Manager
4 year degree in an Engineering focus. (Mechanical, Civil, Industrial Engineering, Electrical)
Ideal role for JMO Junior Military Officer looking to learn as much about a company from the ground up.
5 to 10 years of experience managing site installation projects working on facility infrastructure, capital equipment and 3rd party contractors.
Skill with multiple CAD programs will be beneficial.
