CASE MANAGER ASSISTANT (Hiring Immediately)
Our firm has an immediate opening for an experienced full-time Personal Injury Case Manager Assistant.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Case Manager with a variety of cases and duties that will make them more effective at their jobs, while providing support to our clients. You should have a passion for helping others and a dedication to providing the highest level of customer care.
This position requires the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. We are looking for a detail-oriented, motivated go-getter with a positive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities:
- Open claims with insurance companies, health insurance subrogation departments, and MediCAL/CARE
- Request police reports, medical records and pre-morbs records
- Schedule doctor appointments and schedule rides for clients
- Verify balances with providers
- Prepare files to submit to demand writers
- File management.
- Verifying individuals' information
- Ensuring referral information is accurate.
- Assist in coordinating patient care and follow-up appointments.
- Researching newly available treatment options
- Gather and analyze patient records, liaise with physicians and other medical personnel, and update patient records and databases.
- Handle tasks like phone calls, data entry, and legal research.
- Reach out to insurance providers to secure payment arrangements and conduct research and analyses.
- Coordinate patient care services, such as scheduling appointments, insurance verification, and registration process.
- Must know medical management and how it ties into case management.
- Communicate effectively with doctors, patients, and health care entities to gather information, provide updates, and coordinate patient care.
- Ensure all necessary documentation and paperwork is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Utilize case management software to track and document case progress.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and understand the importance of responding quickly to the needs of the clients.
Qualifications:
· Knowledge in personal injury is a MUST.
- Bilingual in Spanish (REQUIRED)
- Must be organized and excellent at multi-tasking.
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration and client interaction.
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
· Critical thinking and problem solving to determine the best course for each client.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using case management software a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Experience:
· Minimum 2 years’ experience working on Personal Injury cases or managed a caseload of at least 50 cases.
