Travel COTA / Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Responsibilities:
- Follow individualized treatment care plans
- Provide treatment to patients for daily living, functional activities, therapeutic exercise, fine and gross motor skills, coordination, equipment adaptation
- Measure performance and document patient progress towards meeting established goals
- Instruct and guide patients for appropriate techniques and skills
- Create care plans tailored to patients’ specific needs and capabilities using a variety of treatment techniques
- Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions
- Motivate patients during treatment to help them function optimally
- Consult and practice with other health professionals
- Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress

Travel COTA / Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Requirements:
- Graduate of accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program
- NBCOT Certification preferred
- 1-2 years of experience working as an Occupational Therapist Assistant
- Valid Occupational Therapist Assistant license
- Excellent knowledge of principles and practices of Occupational Therapy
- Knowledge of current treatment practices and drive to continually learn and grow
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism during stressful times
- Valid Driver’s License
- Background and drug screen
