Koris Behavioral Center, Inc. is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Behavior Technician to join our growing team!
Job Summary:
The Behavior Technician is responsible for providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment to children in the Los Angeles, CA area. They implement principles of behavior therapy to reduce maladaptive behaviors, support the implementation of behavioral treatment plans, and assist in the implementation of positive social and community behaviors. The Behavior Technician will work closely with their supervisor and supervising BCBA to implement ABA techniques in all aspects of the client's treatment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct services to children with disabilities in the community center setting.
- Implement behavior therapy plans designed by the BCBA and his/her supervisor.
- Collect data on child performance and behavior, which is recorded on a daily basis.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to implement positive social and community behaviors.
- Provide supervision for all clients under treatment.
- Complete all required documentation on a daily basis.
- Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned by the BCBA or his/her supervisor.
Skills Required and Physical Demands:
- Basic writing and communication skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug test.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time, bend, reach, lift, push, pull, and maneuver in general use of wheelchair.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour
