The Lead Clinician coordinates clinical services, trains new clinicians, and supervises clinical staff.

· Ensure effectiveness of clinical services.
· Supervises clinicians, including the maintenance of all appropriate supervision documentation.
· Review and attest to all clinical documentation for clients.
· Trains all incoming clinicians on ORR and CCP policies and procedures regarding the transitional foster care program, as well as clinical training on the specific needs and interventions associated with unaccompanied minors, which may include but is not limited to disrupted attachments, trauma, human trafficking, acculturation, etc.
· Act as a support and back-up to clinicians.
· Responsible for initial client intakes and assessments as needed, including assessing appropriate levels of care and recommending referrals.
· Individual counseling of clients as needed.
· Group counseling of clients as needed.
· Represent the program in clinical providers meetings as needed.
· Monitor matches.
· Facilitate foster parent trainings as needed.
· Provide emergency on-call back-up support

Requirements
· Master of Social Work (MSW) or a master’s degree or PhD. in psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science in which clinical experience is a program requirement, plus 2 years of postgraduate direct service delivery experience.
· Must be licensed to provide clinical services in CT, e.g., LCSW, LPC, LC
· At least 2 years postgraduate direct service delivery to a child or adolescent population.
· Clinical supervision experience.
· Bilingual.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Previous experience in providing services to immigrant populations, particularly unaccompanied minors or minor refugees.
