Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
- Perform vital signs measurements, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Provide basic life support in emergency situations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Ensure proper coding of medical procedures and diagnoses
- Assist with medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and coordinating referrals
- Educate patients on medical conditions, treatment plans, and medication instructions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and equipment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred
- Proficient knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record patient information
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient service
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $20.50 per hour
