Supervises and coordinates the activities of workers engaged in the layout, installation, and repair of wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment.
Experience
· Must have at least ten years’ experience in the electrical trades, four of which must have been at the journeyman level and two of which must have been at the Foreman level. Must have demonstrated ability to perform the required trade skills as determined by Us.
Typical Duties
· Plans new or modified installations to effectively and efficiently construct or repair wiring, fixture, or equipment consistent with specifications and local electrical codes.
· Follow diagrams or blueprints, ensuring that concealed wiring is installed before completion of future walls, ceilings, and flooring. Prepares as-built sketches showing the final location of wiring and equipment.
· Supervise and coordinate activities of eight to ten assigned craft workers.
· Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed for area of supervision.
· Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
· Establishes and adjusts work sequences to meet construction schedule, using knowledge of capacities of equipment and assigned personnel.
· May study schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for completion of job.
· Analyzes and resolves work problems.
· Maintain time records and ensure they are forwarded to the payroll department daily.
· Inspects quality of finished work to insure conformance to specifications.
Tool and Machinery Requirements and Usage
· Must possess the minimum tools required for electricians
· Must have working knowledge in the use of the following hand and power tools.
· All types of power drills and saws
· Knockout sets—both manual and hydraulic
· Conduit benders—both manual and hydraulic
· Equipment for cleaning conduit prior to pulling wire.
· Wire pullers
· Torque wrenches.
· Testing equipment such as a megger, amp probe, multi-meter, phase rotation meter

Physical Requirements
Work is performed in and outside of process plants under a wide range of environmental conditions, with frequent deadlines and interruptions.
Physically, workers must be able to:
· Work easily and skillfully with your hands.
· Climb and maintain balance on ladders and scaffolds.
· See well (naturally or with correction) and distinguish colors.
· Reach for, handle, and grasp wires and hand tools.
· Bend, crouch, and work in small places; and lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
Educational Requirements
· High school graduate
Working Relationships
· Reports to the Project Manager
· Works directly with other electricians, mechanics, helpers, and laborers to complete the necessary work.
