l candidate will have 4
ars minimum experience as an Accounting Supervisor or Senior Accountant and will work closely with other department heads to drive profitable growth while protecting company assets. Experience in warehousing and distribution a plus.
*ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES*
*Management:*
Manage and lead the accounting functions, support the operations heads with information and analysis on improving operations and profitability, provide feedback to Executive Team on performance to budget and variances. Develop metrics and analysis identifying areas for improvement. Regularly advise the CEO on underperforming operations and opportunities for improvement.
*Accounting and Controls:*
* Prepare for external audit support by facilitating preparation of financial statements with supporting schedules.
* Assist with monthly financial statement analyses.
* Execute month-end close activities including journal entries and account reconciliation.
* Achieve accounting operational objectives by contributing accounting information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
* Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
* Record and report leased assets (ROU assets) and liabilities on the financial statements, ensuring compliance with the new lease accounting standards (ASC 842) to align with regulatory requirements.
* Prepare daily billing reports to factoring company and funding summary analysis report.
* Responsible for the payroll related entry
* Ensure accuracy and Integrity of financial data (ex. billing procedure)
* Responsible for cash flow forecasting and cash management including statements and financial projections.
*Reporting and Analysis:*
Provide accurate and timely reports, including analysis of financial performance. Provide insight and analysis to help improve Company performance. Provide financial planning, forecasting and related ongoing advice to the Executive Team and the CEO.
*Profitability and Accountability:*
Search for opportunities to improve the profitability of all operations and prepare reports to measure the success of these objectives including detailed variance analysis.
Work with other Executive Team members to develop annual budgets and projections. Lead and manage the budget process including preparation and presentation.
*PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS*
Bachelor’s degree required, minimum of 4 years of experience. Previous focus on accounting, audit and controls is required. Must have excellent writing skills.

*COMPENSATION:*
Range of $125,000 to $150,000 commensurate with experience.
