The Hotel Indigo & Holiday Inn Express Austin Downtown University is currently seeking a dynamic, experienced and motivated individual for the position of Food & Beverage Director at our Stepstone Hospitality managed hotel. The position requires a high level of professionalism, guest service / hospitality skills, excellent organization, communication skills, strong multi-tasking capabilities, computer literate and detail orientation. To be successful you must possess excellent organizational and time management skills. A strong proficiency in multi-tasking with hospitality banquets & catering experience essential.
Requirements:
The responsibilities of the Food & Beverage Director include but are not limited to:
Maintain standards of food, beverage, and quality guest service.
Achieve budgeted revenues and expenses and maximize profitability related to the food and beverage department.
Contribute to the profitability and guest satisfaction perception of other hotel departments.
Develop short- and long-term financial and operational plans for the food and beverage department that relate to the overall objectives of the hotel.
Increase level of guest satisfaction by delivery of an exceptional product through employee development.
Manage the banquet events and insure group rooms are set up to their standards.- Attend BEO meetings as well as group meetings with Sales team.
- Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
Complete all required training with StepStone and the hotel brands.
- Ability to accurately report information.
Ability to scrupulously follow all StepStone and hotel policies and procedures.

Ideal candidates must have a minimum of four (4) years of current Hotel experience. Only candidates located within the continental United States will be considered. Local candidates are preferred.
