The Salvation Army's Wisconsin and Upper Michigan Division is located in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. The division is home to 26 Worship and Community Centers (Corps), 67 service extension units, a camp, as well as multiple homeless shelters, thrift stores and food pantries. Service extension units are branches of The Salvation Army in communities where Corps are not located but service is provided by committees of volunteers. The Copy & Mail Service Specialist will process incoming and outgoing mail, general copy orders, and serve as backup receptionist.
About the role:
- Complete print jobs for DHQ, Emergency Lodge, and Distribution Center. Ship items out when needed.
- Maintain inventory of mail room supplies.
- Handle basic maintenance issues on copy room copiers. Work with vendors on repairs when needed.
- Keep mail room stocked with supplies and neatly organized.
- Open the mail each morning and prepare outgoing mail each afternoon.
- Accurately and promptly process all mail with the highest level of customer service.
- Monitor postage meter regularly to ensure the proper amount of postage.
- Distribute postage reports to the finance department on the first of every month.
- Handle large mailings for departments, such as letters and postcards.
- Track courier and accountable items (FedEx, UPS, Certified Mail, etc.)
- Maintain all mailing lists, address labels, and envelopes for the Corps and Service Extension units mail slots.
- Maintain retired officers mailing addresses and send out weekly mailings.
- Back up the receptionist during breaks and lunch periods.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: Previous experience working in a mail room preferred

Full-time employees scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week will be eligible for full benefits, including health, dental, vision and hearing benefits, basic and voluntary life benefits, holiday pay and paid time off, which is pro-rated based on their regularly scheduled work week.
