We are looking for enthusiastic and self motivated individuals to join our sales team in the Front Range to include the areas of Longmont, Boulder, Broomfield, Westminster, Thornton, Brighton and in between areas. This is a great opportunity for the right sales professional to capitalize on a first to market opportunity in a major industry. Our exclusive commercial waste compaction machines smash the trash inside open top, roll-off dumpsters, resulting in far fewer hauls and lower waste disposal costs for our customers. Virtually any company with a roll off dumpster is an eligible candidate for our services. Our Outside Sales Representatives target and identify core customers in industries such as: production & manufacturing, warehousing, shipping, logistics, construction & materials/service providers. You will introduce these potential customers to our services and you’ll manage the sales process through closing. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify potential customers using google maps/earth and visit those customers' sites to verify their dumpster usage (local travel is required).
- Identify and communicate with the decision makers at potential customer sites and introduce them to Smash My Trash (sales/marketing materials provided).
- Schedule, coordinate and lead free smash demonstrations between the customers and our smash operators to showcase our services (scheduling software provided).
- Obtain from the customer their current haul spend, haul frequency and hauler frustrations to generate an accurate cost savings proposal (cost calculator software provided).
- With SMT Management approval, present the proposal to the customer, close the deal and obtain a signed agreement.
- Coordinate with SMT Management on potential closing of deals for smash pricing, frequency and route placement.
- Follow up with new customers during the first couple months after closing to monitor our service, obtain feedback and make adjustments if needed.
- Record all data from lead generation through closing and maintain all CRM records (software and systems provided).
- Represent our company and brand at appropriate association meetings, conferences, and trade shows (uniforms & marketing materials provided).
- Prepare reports for sales and marketing tracking (software provided).
- Learn and effectively utilize our CRM system (Hubspot) and other required technology.
Compensation:
- This position is full time (M-F), W2, with base salary plus commission.
- Aggressive Commission and Bonus pay plan, excellent plan for high producers.
- Estimated first year annual income is $45,000-70,000+
- We pay renewals on existing business and never cap commissions.
- Monthly travel stipend for fuel is provided.

Requirements:
- 2-5 years experience in B2B outside sales, territory sales, or regional sales
- Hunter mentality
- Effective time management, organization, and multitasking skills
- Valid Driver’s license and background check
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable selling to mid-level management and C-suite
- Ethical standard of conduct expected at all times
- Belief in our model of customer service, savings & environment friendly.
Additional Desired:
- Experience selling a financial savings model
- Experience selling to large (National) corporations
- Commercial waste, recycling, or environmental experience
- Sales experience in a target vertical: shipping/freight/distribution, manufacturing, construction, etc.
