Seeking Full Time Nuclear Medical Technologist to complement our vibrant Nuclear Department.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to an empathetic and instructional approach with patientcare: preparation, calibration, and administration of radiopharmaceuticals.
- Receive all radioactive shipments according to NRC standards.
- Complete quality control testing on all HOT LAB equipment per NRC standards
- Run quality testing on camera and record.
- Make service calls as needed and notify appropriate staff.
- Review schedule and make appropriate dose adjustments.
- Enter patient information in acquisition computer correctly.
- Handle patient studies, IV placement, dosing, procedure orders.
- Properly place IV and inject all radioactive and chemical stress test solutions.
- Place IV and aid in Echo to push agitated saline for bubble study.
- Scan and process rest and stress images per company protocol.
- Order daily doses and department supplies.
- Record all log out of radioactive shipment to pharmacy.
- Survey and maintain safe use of Radioactive materials.
- Weekly perform a wipe test per protocol and record.
- Maintain Locked Hot Lab.
- Survey hands and department and record.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
