KRON 4 in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Production Manager.
The Production Manager’s main responsibilities are to manage the day-to-day operations of the station studio production staff and systems. Candidates must have experience supervising a television broadcast production & operations department with a large news operation.
This is a full-time, non-union, exempt position.
Candidate must have a strong & proven background in the following areas:

State of the art broadcast equipment, with an emphasis on control room and news gathering equipment and software.

Experience managing a production and studio staff.

Experience overseeing control rooms and studio operations.

Experience with broadcast production automation systems.

Experience with newsroom production software (ENPS, Bitcentral, Ross Overdrive, etc.).
The successful candidate will be a self-starter who pays attention to detail and is a team player. Other key responsibilities, attributes, and characteristics include:

Maintain positive and proactive communication on all production related issues among all other departments (News, Sales, Promotions & Engineering)

Assist in the design and implementation of projects including equipment upgrades and workflow improvements.

Flexible, but also focused on completing tasks and projects.

Must be able to occasionally work weekends, longer hours, or varying shifts when necessary to meet production and broadcast emergencies or deadlines.

5 years of broadcast TV production preferred.

A college degree or equivalent work experience is highly desired.

$100,000+ commensurate with experience and skill level
