The Corporate Accounting Manager is head of the accounting department primarily responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of the company’s accounting and control function. Such includes responsibility for preparing the monthly financial reports and maintaining the integrity of the control system that ensures accurate U.S. GAAP basis financial statements.
Responsibilities:
· Analyzes and maintains the general ledger’s integrity
· Manages the accounts receivable/collections and accounts payable departments
· Coordinates the monthly closing process and controls the closing calendar.
· Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and compliance to internal policies
· Provides accounting assistance to the various departments and responds to financial questions/concerns to meet business needs
· Processes payroll
· Reports financial results – prepares and issues financial reporting package (monthly variance analysis, quarterly balance sheet and monthly P & L Fluctuation Analysis
· Assist with compliance reporting for federal, state, and local agencies such as, property, sales and use tax, and franchise tax returns.
· Manages Fixed Assets accounting and creates Notes Payables amortization schedules as needed
· Carry out the Mission established by the senior executives of the company.
· Assist with the corporate office’s general administration.
· Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Experience:
· A bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field
· 2-5 years - experience with maintaining financial records
· Working knowledge of standard accounting practices
· Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
· Need to be organized and detail oriented with strong communication (both verbal and written) skills
· Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and communicate in a professional manner
· Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet frequent deadlines
· Ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team
· ERP systems experience is a plus

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
