Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care and support our medical staff in delivering high-quality healthcare services.
Responsibilities:
- Perform vital signs assessments accurately and efficiently
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Assist in operating rooms (OR) during procedures
- Deliver exceptional patient service and ensure patient comfort
- Support medical-surgical procedures and provide assistance in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
- Work in a Level II Trauma Center environment, maintaining professionalism and efficiency
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of human anatomy
- Collaborate effectively in a Level I Trauma Center setting within a hospital
Experience:
- Completion of a Certified Medical Assistant program
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
