Key Responsibilities
- Assists in Receiving and documenting all incoming packages & products
- Organizes all Receiving areas as required to keep them immaculate and safe; free from hazards
- Maintains proper storage of all food, dry, paper, hard & soft goods in their pre-designated areas
- Keeps storerooms organized and clean for proper storage
- Unpacks all goods for proper distribution
- Assists with stocking all received goods; rotates in-process stock
- Maintain communication with vendors for each product delivery.
- Maintaining Amazon, FedEx & UPS packages delivered
- Oversees the accurate pick-up of internal packages
- Facilitates, in cooperation with Security, the delivery of Resident packages as per Security SOP 005
- Manage the receiving of F&B, Golf, Housekeeping, Maintenance & Admin departments
- Ensures all deliveries are accounted for and are appropriately monitored
- Ensures all storage areas are neat, cleaned, and organized
- Direct & coordinate the storage of goods, supplies & services essential to the supplies operations.
- Build and develop relationships with key manufacturers/suppliers.
- Negotiate delivery terms with our manufacturers and suppliers.
- Prepare purchase requisitions.
- Approve and issue purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
- Execute department receiving policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality control audits to ensure team is properly trained and following established procedures
- Assists with the process if all month end and quarterly inventories of food, beverage, operating equipment and supplies
- Ensures all cooler and freezer temperature logs are maintained
- Ensures Receiving Procedures, to include temperature checks upon product delivery are adhered to
- Performs other duties as required by management.
Scheduling
This is a part-time position that requires availability to work most weekends.
Requirements/Skills
- High school diploma required
- Associate’s degree preferred
- Must be able speak, read and understand English fluently
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with department heads/managers and employees
- Must possess a strong commitment to the team
- Knowledge of computer accounting programs, math skills.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook and purchasing programs.
- Have a current and valid Driver’s License
- Have a valid Texas Food Handler’s Certification

- This position requires an above average amount of physical labor such as bending, stooping, walking, reaching, and standing.
- Should be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Bending/Kneeling
- This position requires an above average amount of physical labor such as bending, stooping, walking, reaching, sitting, and standing. This position requires this type of activity throughout the day.
