We give our therapists the autonomy to approach their clients with a tailored and individualized approach that best fits their needs, with the guidance of high-quality supervision. Our offices are conveniently located in Brooklyn Heights and Midtown Manhattan. Therapists have the opportunity to work in person or virtually.

Cobb Psychotherapy is committed to thoughtful and comprehensive individual and group supervision, centered around both clinical practice and administrative function. One of our goals is to truly prepare our therapists for their fully licensed future, helping them find their clinical voice while emphasizing the importance of understanding clinical documentation and the insurance landscape. We are looking for an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our team of supervisors.
We are looking to hire an LCSW to provide clinical and administrative guidance, mentorship, and supervision to anywhere from 2-5 supervisees and/or interns. Clinical Supervisors will also maintain a caseload, both full-time and part-time options are available. The clinical supervisor will have regular, structured meetings with supervisees for case conceptualization, evaluating treatment, and providing guidance and support. Supervisors will train, evaluate, manage, and motivate staff. Supervisors will ensure the quality of clinical documentation at all times. Supervisors with subspecialties in eating disorders, couples work, OCD and DBT are particularly encouraged to apply.
Clinical Supervisor Responsibilities:

Conduct weekly or bi-weekly clinical and administrative supervision

Conduct bi-weekly group supervision

Attend regular meetings with the practice team and leadership.

Attend monthly supervision group with fellow supervisors.

Assume responsibility for counseling, motivating, and improving performance of practitioners

Conducting performance reviews as needed.

Ensuring practitioners comply with licensure and registration requirements.

Ensuring compliance, accuracy, and quality of clinical documentation.

Assisting practitioners by supervising complex cases and crisis situations.
