As an Senior Customer Service Executive at Ecom Authority, you will be at the forefront of our customer service operations, overseeing the Amazon Marketplace accounts of approximately 80-100 e-commerce clients. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that our clients’ products are expertly managed, accurately represented, and effectively sold on one of the world’s largest online marketplaces. You are responsible for the end-to-end account management process, which includes item setup, content optimization, inventory management, sales monitoring, and providing comprehensive support and strategic advice to our clients.
Job Title: Customer Account Executive - E-commerce/Amazon Marketplace
Department: Customer Success
Reports To: Head of Customer Service and Account Management
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the Amazon Marketplace accounts for a portfolio of 80-100 e-commerce clients, ensuring a superior level of customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate product uploads, including detailed descriptions, images, and pricing.
- Conduct regular audits of product listings to maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance with Amazon’s policies and guidelines.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations, collaborating with supply chain and logistics partners as necessary.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, forecast demand, and provide clients with insights and recommendations to maximize sales performance.
- Stay abreast of Amazon’s platform updates, changes in marketplace policies, and best practices to advise clients effectively and maintain competitive listings.
- Work closely with clients to understand their goals and tailor account strategies to their specific needs, ensuring that Ecom Authority handles their workload efficiently and effectively.
- Resolve account-related issues promptly, maintaining open lines of communication with clients and providing exceptional service that upholds the company’s reputation.
- Prepare regular reports on account status, sales, and inventory for internal stakeholders and clients.
Qualifications
- Fluent/Native English required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or relevant role, preferably within an e-commerce or Amazon-focused environment.
- Proficiency with Amazon Seller Central and a deep understanding of the Amazon Marketplace.
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Excellent organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Superior client service skills and a commitment to meeting and exceeding client expectations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trusting relationships with clients and team members.
- Proficient in the use of e-commerce tools and software, with a willingness to learn new technologies as needed.
Work Environment
This role is primarily remote. You should expect a dynamic and fast-paced environment where managing multiple tasks simultaneously is the norm.
