With a focus on leveraging advanced technologies to optimize our manufacturing processes, we are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of a state-of-the-art Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
Position Overview: As a Software Engineer responsible for creating our MES, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our manufacturing operations through cutting-edge software solutions. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and IT, you will design, develop, and implement software modules and features that streamline production workflows, enhance efficiency, and ensure product quality. Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for the MES, understanding business needs, operational processes, and technical constraints.
System Design: Design the architecture, components, and interfaces of the MES, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compatibility with existing systems and technologies.
Software Development: Develop software modules, modules, and features of the MES, following best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes.
Integration and Testing: Integrate the MES with other systems and equipment, conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.
Documentation: Create technical documentation, including design documents, user manuals, and release notes, to support the deployment and maintenance of the MES.
Troubleshooting and Support: Identify and troubleshoot issues with the MES, provide timely support to end-users and stakeholders, and implement solutions to address technical challenges.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals, communicate progress, and solicit feedback throughout the development lifecycle.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing optimization efforts for the MES, gather feedback, and implement enhancements to improve efficiency, productivity, and user experien
What you’ll Need To Succeed:
Job Requirements (To select this job at a minimum you must have the following):
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in software development, with a focus on developing enterprise-level applications or systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Angular/Javascript, C++, C#, or Python, as well as software development tools and frameworks.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, industrial automation technologies, and MES concepts is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into scalable and maintainable software solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
