Position Summary
Tremendous opportunity with a fast-growing company. We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our winning team. The ideal candidate will possess 1 to 2 years experience in a Generalist role. Choice Rehabilitation LLC, provides therapy services by licensed Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech/Language Therapists in skilled nursing facilities throughout Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa and Arkansas.
The HR Generalist at Choice Rehabilitation supports the day-to-day operations of Human Resources. This position requires strong attention to detail, a broad understanding of employee onboarding, benefits, managing leaves of absence, maintaining employee personnel files (both paper and electronic), compliance, employee relations, and other related supportive services. The ideal candidate will work closely with the management team and report directly to the VP of Human Resources to ensure HR needs are met in compliance with legal and agency standards. The HR Generalist will serve as a resource for all employees. The candidate must have the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Also must have a proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to take initiative.

Additional responsibilities include:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of job applications, resumes, and candidate profiles.
- Assist in employee onboarding and orientation, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Assist in conducting background checks and reference verifications.
- Support benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and communication.
- Assist in developing and updating job descriptions and compensation packages.
- Assist in creating HR strategies and plans that align with agency goals.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
- Generate HR reports as needed for management and compliance purposes.
- Act as a liaison between employees and management to address concerns effectively.
- Monitor, maintain, and update policy manuals as needed.
