Position Description:
Reporting to the President & CEO, the Senior Director of Programs will be a key external face of Bridge Street in the community. The Senior Director of Programs will be responsible for the operational success of Bridge Street’s programs, services and activities, ensuring seamless team management and development, program delivery, quality control, and evaluation. The Senior Director of Programs will be responsible for leading and directing the day-to-day administration, operations, budget and staff of BSDC Program Areas of Youth, Older Adults, Community Engagement, Economic Development, and Strategic Partnerships. The Senior Director of Programs will be a key participant in outreach and seeking out private and public funding sources to enhance current programming and the ongoing development and expansion of program areas by seeking and obtaining new opportunities to sustain and increase the impact of BSDC programming.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage BSDC program areas to achieve outcome-driven programming that focuses on meeting community needs.
- Serve as a key member of the BSDC Leadership Team, providing strategic direction and oversight as an internal leader of the organization.
- Recruit, manage, develop and evaluate staff by providing timely mentoring, training, support, succession planning and performance management to build the capabilities and competence of program managers and staff to accomplish goals.
- Identify, engage, and build relationships with key stakeholders, leaders and influencers in the community.
- Manage all program grants/contracts processes. Facilitate and coordinate grant discussion with funding entities related to budget and compliance, support program leads with reporting requirements.
- Prepare and coordinate individual programming budgets, allocations and compliance with grant/contract funding requirements and service deliverables while helping to identify and fill funding gaps.
- Identify new opportunities for funding and assist with the development and submission of funding proposals.
- Review financial reporting and organize budget monitoring to ensure appropriate utilization of resources in collaboration with BSDC Finance and program leads.
- Develop and review work plans with program leads to ensure timely completion of grant deliverables.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
