Community Healthcare Network is seeking for a Full-Time Dental Assistant to assist our Dental team during examination and treatment of patients.
JOB FUNCTION:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Prepares patient and patient room for procedures.

Sterilizes and disinfects instruments, sets up instrument trays.

Prepares materials, and assists dentist during dental procedures.

Takes and records medical and dental histories of patients.

Facilitates related services for health center clients as appropriate with respect to their confidentiality and privacy.

Develops and mounts dental diagnostic x-rays.
-
Pours, trims and polishes study casts.
-
Assists dentist in management of dental emergencies.
-
Instruct patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs.

Schedules appointments, generates and closes encounters, prepares bills and receives payment for dental services, completes insurance forms, and maintains clerical records.

Orders supplies and maintains updated inventory

Performs other related duties, as assigned.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

High School Diploma or GED
-
Certificate of completion of course of study in Dental Assisting.
