As a Human Resources Specialist , you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and onboarding potential candidates for our nursing and HHA departments. This position requires excellent communication skills, computer skills, writing skills, a strong understanding of the recruitment process, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Human Resources Specialist Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the director of Human Resources to come up with creative ways of attracting candidates
- Track and report on recruiting activities and outcomes
- Follow up throughout the onboarding process with the candidate
- Ensure that all documentation is successfully collected and submitted
- Following up on medical assessments to ensure compliance
Human Resources Specialist Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- 1 year of prior experience in an office environment is highly preferred
- Proficient in using computer systems and software
- Ability to work well in a team as well as a independently
- Spanish preferred
