We are looking to add a motivated and compassionate Production Supervisor to our Tedia team to work out of our Fairfield, Ohio location. We are a customer-driven company that provides high-purity solvents for life science, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, laboratory, and industrial applications. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for providing direct supervision of production employees to include work schedules, employee training and development, ensuring production quality and quantity requirements are met, evaluating staffing needs, performance management and employee relations, administering safety, communication and teambuilding programs. Interacts with all departments and levels of the organization to optimize processes and production.

Core Responsibilities:

Direct and coordinate production – includes all filling and operator activities.

Prepare operational schedules and coordinate manufacturing activities. Adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.

Ensure quality of products meet specifications.

Work closely with Coordination Team to ensure efficient work flow.

Inspect equipment and request any required maintenance for maximum operational performance.

Compile, store, and retrieve production data.

Communicate and train on new or modified production methods.

Enforce the company policies and safety regulations.

Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.

Recommend changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency.

Initiate and suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals
Qualifications:
-
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment and/or chemical industry.

Have basic or above computer skills to include Word, Excel, and SAP.

Strong commitment to Quality and Safety
Education:
Requirement: BS or higher in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or extensive chemical experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
